We are a family-owned and operated Kiko goat farm located in Creek County, Oklahoma. Although our farm officially began in 2025, our journey started long before we purchased our first breeding stock. It started with countless hours of research, asking questions, reading everything we could find, studying genetics, and traveling to meet some of the most respected breeders in the Kiko industry.

Spicer Family Kikos was built by family from the very beginning. What started as a shared dream quickly became a project that brought together three generations. I work alongside my father, my grandfather, my wife, and my son to build something we could all be proud of. Every fence post, every pasture improvement, every shelter, and every breeding decision represents the hard work and dedication of our family. Building this farm has never been just about raising goats—it has been about creating a legacy that can be passed down for generations.

When we decided to enter the Kiko breed, we knew we wanted to do it the right way. Instead of simply buying goats, we invested our time into learning from some incredible breeders across the country. We visited outstanding farms, met generous people who were willing to share their knowledge, and saw firsthand what it takes to develop a successful herd. Those experiences helped shape the goals and philosophy of our breeding program and gave us a deep appreciation for the people who have dedicated their lives to improving the breed.

Our mission is simple: produce functional, low-maintenance Kiko goats that excel in the pasture. We believe goats should thrive with minimal human intervention while maintaining excellent maternal instincts, structural correctness, parasite resistance, fertility, longevity, and growth performance. We are committed to selecting breeding stock based on real-world productivity rather than appearance alone.

Every breeding decision we make is driven by genetics, performance, and the long-term improvement of our herd. We continue to study pedigrees, evaluate performance records, follow buck test results, and learn from experienced breeders throughout the Kiko community. We believe there is always something new to learn, and we are committed to continually improving our program.

Our goats are raised in a pasture-based environment where they are expected to perform under practical conditions. We want our animals to be productive, efficient, and capable of succeeding with limited inputs. Sound feet and legs, strong parasite resistance, good mothering ability, structural correctness, and overall durability are traits we place a high priority on.
